Srinagar, Jul 20 (KNO): A month has elapsed after the Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) meeting was held, the authorities have failed to come up with the minutes of meetings.
Sources privy to the development informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), BOCA meeting related to the permission for construction of buildings was held on June 17, 2024.
However, the minutes of meetings have not been made public yet, thereby leaving the locals to lurch as over 40 people, whose cases are pending, are facing immense hardships.
“Nearly 45 cases have been approved, but unfortunately the minutes of meetings have not been made public as the signatures of participants are still pending,” sources said, adding that the people awaiting the permissions have been pushed to the wall.
Secretary, Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA), Gulzar Ahmad Bhat said that one of the participants was not available for signing the minutes of meetings as his relative died some time back. “The officer is now joining the office again from Monday and he will be signing the minutes of meetings, which will be made public later,” he said—(KNO)
